She swings, she sings, she sews.

Mover, Maker, and Creator. I am passionate about dance, about music, and about visual art. I aspire to be a leader in the Minneapolis arts community and work everyday to create something, whether it is a tap dance, song lyrics, or a piece of textile art.

I currently live in Minneapolis, MN in the Longfellow neighborhood. My studio is located at home, where I reside with my two cats, Shadow and Malakai, my Singer sewing machine, and my tap shoes and tap board.

I’m even more passionate about the environment and strive to create as little waste as possible in my studio. Every scrap of fabric is considered and incorporated into my creations so that nothing goes to waste. The material I use is bought at thrift stores, rummage sales, or scrounged from my friend’s closets to prevent ending up in a landfill. I also live car-free and bike everywhere I need to go. Re-use, re-use, and re-use again is my motto!

Right now, you can find me teaching ballroom and swing dance at The Dancer’s Studio in St. Paul. You can see me perform in my band, THE SUMMER COATS with Chase Daniel Burkhart. I also just try to get out and dance at the Eagle’s Club, Aster Cafe, and the many swing dances that happen around town!
