Mover, Maker & Creator

I am passionate about dance and the fabric arts.

I currently live in the Chicago area, near beautiful Lake Michigan in a tiny studio with my fiance, four minnows, and a pond snail named Gary. My work is all created in my studio on my Singer Esteem sewing machine.

I’m even more passionate about the environment and strive to create as little waste as possible in my studio. Every scrap of fabric is considered and incoporated into my creations so that nothing goes to waste. The material I use is bought at thrift stores, rummage sales, or scrounged from my friend’s closets to prevent ending up in a landfill. Re-use, re-use, and re-use again is my motto!

Right now, you can find me dancing Balboa Swing with the Scooter Club, and choreographing freelance. I also currently am studying swing, blues, and tango dance, and am an expert tap and jazz dancer.
